Manuscript organization should be appropriate to the discipline, research question, and methodology. Empirical studies may follow an Introduction–Method–Results–Discussion structure, while theoretical, literary, and critical studies may adopt an appropriate argumentative structure.
3. Scientific Figures, Tables & Supplementary Data
High-quality visual evidence is paramount for rigorous peer evaluation:
• High-Resolution Graphics: Figures must be supplied at a minimum resolution of 300 DPI (PNG, JPG, TIFF, SVG).
• Numbering & Legends: Number figures consecutively in Arabic numerals (Figure 1, Figure 2). Each figure requires a standalone, self-explanatory legend including statistical markers and error bar definitions.
• Table Structure: Tables must be formatted with clear row and column headers with explicit units of measurement.
4. Research Ethics, Plagiarism & AI Disclosures
Compliance with ethical publishing norms is mandatory for all submitted works:
• Ethical Approval: All studies involving human participants or animal models must state the approving Institutional Review Board (IRB) / Ethics Committee name and approval reference number.
• Plagiarism Screening: All manuscripts are cross-checked via automated similarity detection software. Submissions exceeding acceptable similarity thresholds will be returned immediately without peer review.
• Artificial Intelligence Disclosure: Generative AI tools cannot be listed as authors. If AI tools were utilized for data preprocessing, code development, or drafting assistance, authors must explicitly describe their use in the Declarations section.
5. Submission Pipeline & Peer Review Stages
All manuscripts must be submitted electronically via the Shaoor Author Portal (/submit):
All submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment for scope, originality, scholarly quality, and compliance with the journal's requirements. Manuscripts that pass editorial screening are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers under a double-blind peer-review model.
Reviewers assess the manuscript's originality, scholarly significance, theoretical or methodological rigor, quality of analysis, engagement with relevant scholarship, and clarity of presentation.
Following peer review, the editorial decision may be: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
The journal aims to conduct the review process efficiently while prioritizing the quality and integrity of scholarly evaluation.
1. Initial Pre-Flight Editorial Screening (2–3 Weeks)
2. Double-Blind Peer Review by 2+ Independent Specialists (4–8 Weeks)
3. Editorial Decision: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Decline
4. Revision Window: Authors are given 21 days for revisions
5. Typesetting, DOI Minting, and Rapid Open-Access Publication upon acceptance.
